About this school
Mission
To make a transformative impact in St. Louis by providing children a fully implemented, core Montessori education for whom tuition is out of reach.
Quick Fact 1
Baden Montessori School is a new, small micro-school that serves students ages 3 to Kindergarten. We opened our doors in August 2022. Our goal is to provide access to a quality early childhood education program with a proven track record for success – Montessori. We are located in St. Louis, about 12 minutes from downtown, near Broadway and I-70. Come Grow With Us.
Quick Fact 2
Free Tuition for Four Year Olds https://badenmontessori.org/blog/f/free-tuition-for-four-year-olds Thanks to a grant from the State of Missouri, Baden Montessori School can now offer free tuition to qualifying families. To qualify, children must have turned (4) four by July 31 of each upcoming school year and families must meet free and reduced lunch income requirements. Children can also be 4 and turning 5 as long as they were 4 by July 31. If you have been wondering if Montessori is a good fit for your child, and your family meets the age/income requirements, now is a great time to consider giving the gift of a Montessori education. Spots are still available for the 2025-26 school year: four full time and four part time. To learn more about this opportunity, send an email to info@badenmontessori.org
Quick Fact 3
We accept the state subsidy, participate in the Missouri Quality PreK Grant Program and are in the process of being able to accept the MOScholars Program. Our guide and Head of School is a member of both the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) and the American Montessori Society (AMS).

School Visits & Enrollment
- Baden Montessori Admissions Process If you are interested in our program, we would love to meet you and your family. We admit children with the expectation that they will complete the full three-year cycle, ages 3 to 6 (Kindergarten). Because the Montessori environment is mixed-age, children who start at age 3 reap the full benefits of a Montessori education and become the leaders of their community by the time they reach their culminating Kindergarten year at age 5/6. For this reason, children coming into the Primary program should be 3 or early 4 years old. Exceptions will be made on a case-by-case basis and only with a commitment to continue up to age 6. We do not accept children for one-year enrollment unless they are 5 and would be completing the program at age 6/Kindergarten. Children who start in our program receive their own special start date. The school year runs from late August to late May. Each family who enrolls also will be given an orientation for you and your child. We use the special-start-date process to ensure that the guide is available to give each and every child their full focus on their first day in the new community.
- The first step in the admissions process is to request a tour either via phone or by visiting our website to submit an inquiry. The guide and Head of School will contact you for a phone conversation first, and then an on-campus tour with your child. This is the best way to learn about what makes our school, and Montessori, so special. This also allows you the opportunity to ask questions and gather the important information that you need to make the best decision for your child and family.
