About this school
Mission
Loyola Academy of St. Louis is a Jesuit, upper-elementary and middle school for boys who have the potential for college preparatory work, but whose progress may be impeded by economic or social circumstances. The Loyola community conducts a challenging program that supports families in preparing each student to achieve his full human potential. In the Ignatian tradition, the school inspires its students to lives of service and leadership through the use of their God-given talents.
Quick Fact 1
Loyola Academy's attentive, standards-based academic program enables students to achieve greater-than-typical academic growth in reading, language usage, math, and science each year. In addition to their core-academics, students receive support services that enable them to increase their executive-functioning skills and social-emotional awareness.
Quick Fact 2
Loyola Academy provides a thirteen-year program. Following middle school, our students are supported by our Graduate Support Team through four years of high school and up to four years of college/trade school.
Quick Fact 3
Among recent alumni (2019-2023), 100% of students attended college-preparatory high schools; 98% graduated high school on time; 88% enrolled directly in college or the military. Notably, 65% of alumni who attend college are the first in their families to do so.
