About this school

Through the strongest possible college-preparatory program and within a nurturing community, students develop a responsibility for their own learning and a desire to lift up the world with beauty and intellect.
Quick Fact 1
A truly small school where every student is known TJ limits enrollment so teachers can build real relationships with each student. Classes of around 10 to 12 allow for close attention, quick support when needed, and learning that moves at the right pace. TJ teachers understand how your child learns, where they are confident and where they need help. No one slips through the cracks, and students feel comfortable being themselves.
Quick Fact 2
Academic challenge with personal support Students are challenged in a healthy way. They move ahead when they are ready, especially in math, science and writing, and teachers are right there to guide them. The goal is confidence, curiosity, and excellent preparation for college.
Quick Fact 3
A global perspective close to home As a day or boarding student, your child learns alongside students from across the U.S. and around the world. This diverse community broadens their worldview and teaches them how to collaborate in a connected future.
